Justin Eberhart Obituary
Born in Gwinnett County and formerly of Winder, he was a son of Matt Eberhart of Hoschton and Nan Eberhart of Winder. A member of the Dog Breeders Association, he attended Winder-Barrow High School where he played baseball and was a member of the band. He was a graduate of Parkview High School. An avid outsdoorsman and caring father, he was employed by Lowe's Home Improvement as a truck driver.
Survivors, in addition to his parents, are his daughter, Aylah Eberhart of Chesapeake, Va.; paternal grandparents, A.B. and Ann Eberhart of Winder; brother, Shane Eberhart of Winder; and a host of cousins.
Services were to be Friday, Oct. 24, at 2 p.m. in Smith Memory Chapel with the Rev. Hal McElhannon and Mr. Mark Howell officiating. Pallbearers were to be Jason Griffin, Jonathan Walker, Justin Page, Seth Payne, Nic Fortner, Nick Everett, Chad Gaddis and Gary Dover. Interment was to follow in Barrow Memorial Gardens. Contributions may be made to the savings account established in the name of Nancy Eberhart for the benefit of Aylah Eberhart at branches of Bank of America.
Visitation was Thursday, Oct. 23, from 6-9 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home.
Smith Funeral Home is in charge of the service.

I worked with Justin while we were stationed at the Naval Hospital in Portsmouth, Va. He made me laugh everyday in the fitness office. I remember he enjoyed learning about dogs, hunting, music, dancing, and weight lifting. And most of all I know that he was very proud of his daughter. This is so sad. He was much too young.

God has opened his arms and heart for Justin Eberhart. He was like the brother I never had. He helped me to mature and grow. Justin will NEVER be forgotten by me, my family or his friends. I have known Justin since the 6th grade. He has always been such a wonderful person and friend. The kind of person that lifts others up. And we are all fortunate to have known him.
