Terry Bunker Obituary

Terry L. Bunker, Sr. Battle Creek Terry L. Bunker, Sr., 51, of Battle Creek, passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2008 at Battle Creek Health System. He was born August 15, 1957 in Battle Creek the son of Eugene and Matilda A. (Slobodnik) Bunker. He married Martha B. Wiegand on May 25, 1982 in Athens, MI. Terry worked security at the Kellogg Company for Burns Security Company. He enjoyed camping, having fellowship with his family and friends, and watching western movies. Terry liked to spend time with his dog, Sheba. He collected various items. Terry was a member of First Assembly of God. He is survived by his wife, Martha B. Bunker; sons, Terry Lee (Leah) Bunker II of Battle Creek, Brian Bunker of Kalamazoo; father, Eugene Bunker; brother and sisters, Jim Bunker of Kalamazoo, Kathy Bunker of Houston, TX, Diane (Ron) LaCross of Kalamazoo; and grandchildren, Hayden Lee and Leyla D. Bunker. He was preceded in death by his mother, Matilda Bunker. Visitation will be held at Bachman Hebble Funeral Service on Sunday from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Monday, 1:00 p.m. at First Assembly of God with Pastor Dale Boyer officiating. Burial will be in Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens. Memorial tributes may be made to charity of one's choice. Martha, I just heard about Terry, I am so sorry about the loss of him. What a great guy! I still remember when you both met like it was yesterday when you lived in the apartments across from Jenny and I. I always admired Terry s heart of gold.
