Gram I miss you and love you so much. It hasn't been an easy month but every day does get a little easier. I'd give anything to see your shinning smile light up the room again. One thing is you raised a great family who in turn raised us and so much of you is in our hearts. Things will never be the same but I as well as everyone else has the greatest memories to hold on to and pass on. I love you Gram always and forever. Love your KellBell

To all my cousins and my Uncle Ralph: I will forever remember my dear Aunt Frieda. I could never express the special way she made me feel whenever I saw her. I will forever remember the summer when I was 15 and she took me in with the clan to move to Michigan from Ohio. It was and always be my favorite summer ever! She was like a mom to me and I will miss her dearly. Even though we lived far from each other, (absence makes the heart fonder) I aways felt close to her and her family. May God give you peace and comfort in the days to come for through him we have strength. Love and prayers--Patty

My deepest condolonces to Frieda's family. My mom, who was Frieda's best friend during high school (Louise Lemmex) spoke about Frieda often. I enjoyed looking at the old pictures mom would bring out of Frieda and her in those funny outfits they wore back then. They were such good friends then and remained that way for a very long time. I agree with my Aunt Barb. They are together again in heaven and that makes me happy. I am sure Frieda will be missed greatly as is my mother who passed away 5 years ago this November. May god bless our families.

Aunt Frieda was the best. I will forever remember her fondly for how well she treated friends and family,
no matter how far away life took them. My visits to her home are
memories kept locked inside me that
bring warmth to my heart and a smile to my face. Her laugh and joy
of life were the spark and magic of
the Barkley family, which will endure
through the many children and grandchildren left behind. Our thoughts and prayers are with the
Dawson and Edwards family. May
you find comfort through these times, knowing that Aunt Frieda touched so many hearts in her time.

Love,

Jerry

I am so sorry for your loss of such a wonderful person. Frieda and I go back to our childhood days in Norvelt,Pa. She and my sister Louise, were best friends. Louise passed away 5 years ago and Frieda sent me the most comforting letter and told me all the things they used to do in their highschool years. It made me feel so much better. I will always remember this. She was an amazing person, kind and always a smile. My heart and prayers go out to all her family and especially to her sister,Connie, who was my best friend at the same time...I know what it is like to lose your sister and best friend. Now they are together once again in heaven, talking about old times. May they rest in peace.

My Grandma was an Amazing woman who would do anything she could for her grandchildren! When I graduated High School she and the rest of the Family flew out to California to come and support me on that very important day. This past summer when i Finally came back to Michigan before going off to college in Hawaii she told me that she would make it out for that graduation as well... knowing she was in bad health at the time that comment really hit me hard, I knew she would travel around the world just for me.

Mahalo Nui! Grandma
Aloha

Frieda was a wonderful person and i am blessed to have known her. She was a good friend, we enjoyed going and watching the river boat dancers, and last month we got together for coffee and bowling on a wee game she bowled a 137. it was a good time. i could not have asked for a better mother-in law for my daughter.she will be sadly missed, but she is with her lord now and she is up there on our side, until we meet again, love you. sharon collins

To All Our Michigan Cousins:
We will cherish our memories of our dear Aunt Frieda as much as we do our own sweet mother, your Aunt Mae. They were a pair, giggling like schoolgirls whenever they were together! It makes us smile just thinking of the two of them...yes...giggling in heaven!

We hold you all close to our hearts and pray that your faith in God will help to ease your sorrow.
May the blessing of God's light shine upon you all.
