Candy Burgess Obituary

Candy Sue (Burke) Burgess Battle Creek Candy Sue (Burke) Burgess, 50, of Battle Creek, passed away on Sunday, November 2, 2008 after a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis. Candy was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, the daughter of Welby R. and Beaulah D. (Worste) Burke. She was previously employed in road construction and enjoyed going to parks and taking walks. She married Mr. Ronald D. Burgess on September 29, 2000; he preceded her in death in August 15, 2008. Candy is survived by her son, Rex Burgess and daughter, Jennifer Davis. She also leaves her two grandchildren, Terry and Haley; sister Valerie Burke; stepchildren, David Burgess and Stephanie (William) Willavize; step- granddaughter; Alexis and a special friend, Bill Kelleher. Candy was preceded by her sister, Paula Burke. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Royal Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Good Samaritan Hospice Care.
