My thoughts and prayers are with Chuck and his family in their hour of need. I have not seen Ida in many, many years, but remember her as a sweet, kind, and loving person.

Dearest Family,
Ida was my second Mom. She got me ready for school when I was five since my Mother worked. I will never forget her smile and arms out to reach anyone entering her home. Ida's home on Glendale was my home, too. She will be missed greatly. My sympathy to the Family

To the Haan family, my deepest condolences, most of you don't know me, but my father and mother were good friends with Ida and Sam for many years and David and I grew up together and lost track over the years and then got together again in bowling together. Kay I don't know if you still remember met we me along time ago, my condolences to you as well for the loss of Ida and Dave .

Ida was a great lady, I'm glad I knew her. She worked with her dear friend, my Mom Juanita, for many years at Spiegels and Michigan Bank Card. They were like two peas in a pod. Ida was a great help to me when Mom died and we have kept in touch ever since. I am so sorry to hear of her passing; my thoughts and prayers are with her family at this sad time.

Ida's ability to live with loss and make the best of what life handed her was truly amazing. And a lesson for us all. She loved every day and lived it to her fullest. She was a true friend and fine woman. I will miss her terribly.
