Charles Hawk Obituary

Charles Eugene Hawk Battle Creek Charles Eugene Hawk, age 65, of Battle Creek, died Thursday evening, November 6, 2008, at Battle Creek Health System, following a long illness. Chuck was born on June 14, 1943, in Battle Creek to Richard and Esther (Lopshire) Hawk. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. Charles married Jennifer L. (Eddinger) Hawk on December 29, 1991, and she survives. He is also survivied by his children Patricia A. (Dale) Kerton., Bonnie S. Ruble, Esther C. (Joe) Brown, Charles E. Hawk II; two stepchildren, Martin L. Blanchard and Robert L. Blanchard; 2 sisters, Judy A. (Bill) Shockley and June C. (Danny) Eldred; 14 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by mother Esther, brother Richard, Jr., and daughter Deborah. There will be a graveside service to celebrate Charles' life to be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2008, at 1:30 p.m.. Full Military Honors by the Ft. Custer Honor Guard.
