Alfred Sutfin Obituary

Alfred G. Sutfin Leslie Alfred G. Sutfin, of Leslie, formerly of Battle Creek, passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at the age of 72. Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Rebecca; his pride and joy, four children, George Jeffery (Tenna) Sutfin, Michael (Pamela) Sutfin, Jennifer Sutfin, Mary (Michael) Cowger; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; twin brother, Albert (Carole) Sutfin; brother, Allen (Joyce) Sutfin; three sisters, Helen (Norm) Schwencer, Betty Harrison, and Edna Sneed; special sisters and brother, Kathy (David) Haughn, and Barbara Chichester; and numerous nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at the Leslie First Baptist Church, 202 E. Bellevue, on Monday, January 19, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Toby Teague officiating. The family will greet friends at the church on Monday from noon to 1. For those who wish memorial contributions may be made to the Breslin Cancer Center. Arrangements are being handled by the J.C. Adams Funeral Home, Leslie Chapel (517) 589-8216.
