Dear Alice and family,
You and Sid, out of your generous hearts and spirits, took me in at a very turbulent, confusing time in my life. With no financial reimbursement, you fed, clothed, and treated me as one of your family for two years- even having me move with you to Lansing after I graduated from high school.
Sid was a role-model of what a caring, Christian father and husband could be.
My heart sunk when I heard of his death. I just wanted you to know that my prayers are with you. Sid's spirit of love and giving will live on in all those who were touched by him.

Matt and all family,

My deepest sympathy at this most difficult time. May all the happy memories, that surely exist, give you peace of heart.

I met your father once, as was so impressed at his quiet, caring nature.

Dad,
Many things I wish I could say. Although it's too late, I pray that you know that you were always in my heart and memories. I know that you are free from the struggles on earth and at peace in the home of our God. I am blessed to be your daughter. Love, Janice

I have known Sid since I was a teen ager. I babysat for his children when he lived on James Street in Battle Creek. I also went to First Church for many years. He also married my Dad (Paul King and my Step Mother Shirley Foster). He was the kindest person I had known and I have never forgotten him. My Prayers and good thoughts go out to his family. There is no doubt in my mind that he is with the Angels at God's right hand.
