Floyd Cutchall Obituary

Floyd L. Cutchall Union City Floyd L. Cutchall, 85, of Union City, passed away January 22, 2009 at W Drive North Assisted Living in Bellevue. He was born February 17, 1923 in Burlington Township to John and Viola (Ulrich) Cutchall. He married Lillian Garrett on May 17, 1941 in Union City. He lived in the Union City area nearly all his life. Floyd served honorably in the U.S. Navy during WWII in the Pacific Theater. He was a life member of the VFW in Union City. He enjoyed fishing and gardening. He was a mechanic at Bray Motor Sales in Union City for 25 years, he had also worked at Star Mobile Homes for 5 years. Floyd was a member of the Burlington Church of God. He is survived by a son, Charles (Laura) Cutchall of Battle Creek; two grandchildren, Tammy (Todd) Hayes and Christopher Cutchall; two great-grandchildren, Corey and Luke Hayes; and a sister, Vera Baird of Battle Creek. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian in 2005, a daughter, Janet Beier in 1992, 2 sisters and 3 brothers. Visitation will be Monday, January 26, 2009 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Putnam Funeral Home in Union City. Services will be Tuesday, January 27, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Phil Palmer officiating. A private burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery in Union City. Memorial contributions may be made to the Burlington Church of God. Arrangements are by the Putnam Funeral Home, Union City, MI 517/741-9333.
