Sandra Watson Obituary

Sandra Kay Watson Albion Sandra Kay Watson, age 60, of Albion, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at Foote Hospital in Jackson with her family by her side. Mrs. Watson was born on November 2, 1948 to Joseph V. and Mary E. Cashner (Domingo) (Lutzke) in Albion. She was a graduate of Albion High School and married Jack L. Watson in 1968. They moved to the Marshall area in 1973. Sandra was very active and enjoyed doing aerobics and being with her family and friends. Sandra was especially dedicated to her family as a mother, sister and grandmother. Her sense of humor was much appreciated and warmly welcomed by all. Her inner strength and humor helped all of us support her through her illness. Most importantly, she was the best mother that one could have ever had, whose love and support never faded, and who shall never be forgotten by those touched by her presence. Sandra was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Cashner and brother James Domingo. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Vicky Watson, along with granddaughters Miranda and Danielle of Parma Township; ex-husband, Jack L. Watson of Marshall; her father, Joe Domingo of San Benito, Texas; three brothers, Larry (Janet) Domingo, John, and Joe (Jill) Domingo of Albion; and three sisters, Jennie (Brian) Marsh, Mary Jo Hagerman of Albion and Sue Ann Clevenger of Moberly, Missouri. Her requests were to be cremated and that a private gathering of family and close friends take place in the summer of 2009 to celebrate her life. Date to be announced. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Allegiance Health (Foote Hospital) in Jackson with special attention to their Pulmonary Rehabilitation Department.

I want to thank each and every one of you for your heartfelt comments about my mother. We all take great comfort in knowing that she is resting in peace and can now be with her other family members that preceded her in death. We hope that we all can be reunited "on the other side" when the time is right for us. Mom, we love you very much and miss you dearly. Your son, Steve.
