Barbara Frank Obituary

Barbara Colleen Frank Augusta Barbara passed away Saturday, January 24, 2009, at home with her husband at her side, after an illness of several years. She was born May 22, 1926 in Hickory Corners, Michigan, the daughter of Theodore and Vesta Silcock. She graduated from Richland High School in 1943 and spent her entire life in the Richland and Augusta area. Barbara was united in marriage December 11, 1981 to David Frank, who survives. They were owner-operators of the PARK Theatre in Augusta. She also worked 20 years for the Borroughs Division of LSI in Kalamazoo, Michigan as a credit manager. She is also survived by 4 children from a previous marriage, Carole Salski of Port Huron, Michigan, Sidney Stap, Jr. of Richland, Michigan, Richard Stap of Dowling, Michigan and David Stap of Hastings, Michigan; sister, Beverlee Howell of Richland, Michigan; half sister, Nancy Macomber of Kalamazoo, Michigan; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Monday, January 26, 2009, at Farley Estes-& Dowdle Augusta Chapel, 307 N. Webster St., Augusta, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., where services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 27, 2009. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Wayland Township. Uncle Dave,
