Gloria Ratliff Obituary

Gloria Joyce Ratliff Baytown Gloria Joyce Ratliff, 79, of Baytown was born October 7, 1929 in Jackson, MI and passed away Saturday, February 7, 2009 in a Houston hospital. She lived in Michigan until moving to Baytown in 1984. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Marion Thorne; husband, Glenn Henry Ratliff, whom she married in Jackson, MI in 1955; her only sibling, Edward C. Thorne; and special friend, Sandra Purdy. She is survived by many very special friends, whom she loved very much and gave thanks to them for their love and acts of kindness, Mr. and Mrs. Scott Eldridge and family, Bryan Revils and family, Betty Patterson, Ola and Curtis Wood, Archie and Martha Moore, Marialice Doherty, Brenda Smith, Regina Caldwell, Jane Davenport, Donna Maxey, Jean Roberson, the Jesus Rubio family and Sheron Marceaux. Her friends will gather at Navarre Funeral Home Wednesday, February 11, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. At her request, she was cremated and her cremains will be interred in the Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens in Battle Creek, MI.
