To the Sacharski Family. I wish to express my sympathy and condolences to each of you Etola, Mike, Dave, and Bill in the passing of a wonderful man who I've respected and admired my entire life. I have often said that I had a wonderful life growing up in Albion, Mi and Mr Sacharski was a big part of that legacy because of what he taught us all about baseball and sportsmanship, he will be truely missed. Mr Sacharski has kept in touch with me throughout the years with Tee-Ball info that I used when I coached my sons Tee-Ball team here in Cleveland, Oh. Mr Sacharski helped grow me up and I will always be greatfull for that. I will always remember that I was on the very first Tee-Ball championship team, the (Porky Pigs) in 1956 over 53 years ago. My Love and sympathy to the Family. Julius

Dear Sacharski Family
I will always remember all our hard
fought battles on the baseball field
during our high school years in Marshall ,even though I didn't get to
know Coach as well as his players
I realize from talking to them how
much he influenced and impacted
their lives. The times he saw me he always remember me and we joked about that golden years of the
great Marshall/Albion rivalry. My grand kids are playing T-ball now and loving the game. Every time they play I'll think of him and tell them that I knew the Man that in-
vented the game. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. Thanks for the memories
COACH! God Bless you.

I've never talked to anyone else who actually enjoyed Latin class. I guess that claim is unique to those of us who studied under Jerry Scharski -- and who participated in those memorable pep assemblies he wrote. He also added greatly to my enjoyment of a year living in Sicily since I was able to appreciate the history and legends of so many places.

I have fond memories of Latin class with Mr. Sacharski. He was one of those great teachers who loved his students. He still recognized us and remembered our names many years after we had graduated. Class of '58

My deepest sympathies to Mr. Sacharski's family and friends. I use the term Mr. respectfully. Mr. Sacharski was a teacher of mine when I attended the Albion School system. I truly loved his class. I learned all about Istanbull not being Constantinople any more by him playing a record for the class. He always had a way of making history interesting to a Jr. High student, for me anyway. Schools could sure use a creative teachers like him now days. He sure stood out as one of my most remembered teachers.
God Bless and comfort you.
