Dear Janis, I don't know if you remember me, but we spent a lot of time together at the Taylor St address. I lived across the street from you, (38 Taylor). We played a lot together, as nuns, horses, eating raw corn in your mama's garden. We used to make her and my mom so mad, because we ate so much we spoiled our dinners. I remember the wonderful snow mountain your daddy made for us to sled down. Gosh, we had so much fun. I am sorry you have lost your mama, she was pretty cool, as was your daddy. I send you love and a whole lot of fond memories of a time so very long ago, but they are still vivid in my heart. Linda Beers •~PeAe~~★ª''*:•-::-•"

When I first joined the Women's League at St. Jerome, I became part of Doris' 'circle'. I worked many a Bingo night with Doris and we had a ball! I'm so sorry for your loss--she was a very special lady.

Dear Janis and JoAnne,
I am sorry for your loss. I remember your mom as a down-to-earth person with a great sense of humor, laughing and talking at the Scheid reunions. The picture you chose for the paper really captured this.
I hope your memories of her will
sustain you as you grieve.
Most sincerely,
Jeanette Scheid

Dear Janis and JoAnne,
Your Mom was a sweetheart, and I liked her a lot. When she was here for Aunt Alma's funeral, I had lunch with her and we had such a good time! I'll always have happy memories of her.
Take care.
