Arthur Cruse Obituary

Arthur L. Cruse Battle Creek Arthur L. Cruse, 53, of Battle Creek, passed away Monday, March 9, 2009 at Select Specialty Hospital in Kalamazoo. He was born January 4, 1956, in Battle Creek, the son of Charles and Erma Lee (Livingston) Cruse Sr. Although he was disabled, Art enjoyed a full life. His interest included television cartoons, outings to Binder Park Zoo and Kalamazoo Air Zoo and other field trips. Art was raised for a few years by his great-grandparents, Jesse and Drama Cruse. He has resided in his current residence since 1992. Art is survived by his mother, Erma Tucker of Battle Creek. He is also survived by his brothers, Kenneth (Brenda) Cruse of Portage, Charles (Lori) Cruse Jr. of Cary, NC, Larry Cruse of Kalamazoo and Ted Worden and his sister, Betty Himmer. Art also leaves several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Irene Cruse; stepmother, Elaine Cruse; brother, Paul Cruse; sister, Kathy Chapin; and father Charles Cruse Sr. A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm, Saturday, March 14, 2009 at the family gravesite in Reese Cemetery. Arrangements are by Royal Funeral Home.
