Stephanie Harris Obituary

Stephanie Harris Portage Stephanie Jo Harris, age 59, passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at Bickford Cottage Assisted Living Community in Portage after a battle with Alzheimer's disease. Stephanie devoted her life to education, concluding her 31-year career with Kalamazoo Regional Educational Service Agency (KRESA) in 2004. She married Roger Harris in 1971 and together they raised their two children Adam and Anne in a loving and caring home. Stephanie was an active member of Portage Chapel Hill United Methodist and gave her time and talents to numerous organizations. Members of Stephanie's family include her husband, Roger, son Adam (Mary Ellen), daughter Anne (Chris) Quayle, her granddaughter, Phoenix, her brothers, Paul (Kerry Job) Wollam and Chuck (Connie) McCallum, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Lin Wollam. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 28, 2009 at Portage Chapel Hill United Methodist Church.
