Beverly Miller Obituary

Beverly M. (Perry) Miller Battle Creek Beverly M. (Perry) Miller, 79 of Battle Creek, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 31, 2009 at the Calhoun County Medical Care Facility with her family by her side. She was born in Flint, Michigan on January 12, 1930 the daughter of Craig and Donna (Fabrique) Perry. She was a 1948 graduate of Battle Creek Central High School and married her high school sweetheart, Eugene Miller on April 20, 1948 in Angola, Indiana. She retired from Clark Equipment Company in 1982 and prior to that time had worked at General Foods Carton and Container and the Oliver Division. She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary Post #298. Beverly loved to spend time with her family and truly enjoyed taking care of her home. She also enjoyed many trips in the summer to Irons, Michigan; their home away from home. Beverly is survived by her husband, Eugene, the love of her life; three sons: Craig (Karen) Miller, Jim Miller and Brian (Joy) Miller all of Battle Creek; eight grandchildren: Shelly, Shawn, Loree, Matt, Jimmy, Abby, Derek and Kevin; five great-granddaughters; and a sister, Kay Offenbecher. She was preceded in death by her parents, step-father, Albert Webber and sister, Betty (Perry) Cance. A memorial service to celebrate Beverly's life will be held 12:00 p.m. Friday at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Calhoun County Medical Care Facility.

My sincere condolences go out to the family and friends of Beverly Miller. She was a real blessing and a true example of a dedicated wife and mother; she absolutely adored Red and her family. She was a very special lady that I was honored to call my friend.

Aunt Bev I loved you very much. Im so glad I visited you last yr. It was always so hard as you were so much like my mother. We did have a good visit and you were happy to see me.
