Nancy Williams Obituary

Nancy Ellen Williams Battle Creek Nancy Ellen Williams, 86 of Battle Creek, went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 3, 2009. She was born October 5, 1922 in Baxter, Tennessee the daughter of Richard and Jewell (Burgess) Fox. Nancy has been an area resident since 1950 and was a member of the Bedford Bible Church. She enjoyed gardening, canning and cooking, and especially loved being at home to care for her family. She loved all people. On June 26, 1938 she was married to Villard Williams who preceded her in death on May 18, 2001. Surviving are three children: Nellie Harman of Battle Creek, Edward (Kathy) Williams of Battle Creek and Gerald Williams of Burlington; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one brother: Richard Nelson (Sharon) Fox, Jr. of Dowling; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Bedford Bible Church with Pastor John Fulton officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Bellevue. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Bedford Bible Church.
