Elicia Hogan Obituary

Elicia Hogan Augusta Dawn Elicia Hogan, 39, of Augusta, died unexpectedly at her home on April 21, 2009. Elicia was born on January 25, 1970 to Michael and Marilyn (Scarbrough) Livingston in Battle Creek. She graduated from Galesburg High School, and proceeded to get her Baccalaureate of Science in Nursing from the University of Michigan in 1994. Elicia was currently working toward her masters in Nursing at Michigan State University, where she was recognized as an honors student. Elicia's first passion in life was her family. She was a loving wife to her husband Marty, whom she wed in October of 2007 on beautiful West Grand Traverse Bay. She was a dedicated mother to her two children. Elicia was an extremely proud University of Michigan graduate. She was described by many that knew her as the "World's Greatest Nurse". Elicia is survived by her husband, Marty; two children, Brandon Livingston and Kaitlynn Hogan; parents, Michael and Marilyn Livingston; her sister, Leah Nora Livingston-Blade; her twin brother, Tim (Stacy) Livingston; her niece, Amanda; and her two nephews, Stephen and Conner. The family would be honored to recieve friends Sunday, April 26 2009, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Farley-Estes & Dowdle Funeral Home, Augusta Chapel. Funeral Services to celebrate Elicia's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Augusta Cemetary. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed on the behalf of Brandon and Katie, to Marty Hogan. Personal messages for the family may be placed at www.farleyestesdowdle.com
