Ralph Robbins Obituary

Ralph Lee Robbins Union City Ralph Lee Robbins, age 70, of Union City, passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at the Community Health Center of Branch County in Coldwater. He was born on June 24, 1938 in Sherwood to Vernon and Vivian (Harmon) Robbins. He attended Union City Schools and joined the Army in 1955 serving 3 years at Hickman Air Force Base in Honolulu, Hawaii and the remainder in Japan. He was employed at Clark Equipment in Battle Creek for 28½years. He was employed at Griswold in Union City where he retired after 10 years of employment. He was a past Master and Life member of Sherwood Masonic Lodge No.421. He also was a member of the Colon Chapter No. 81 R.A.M. He was a sports fan and especially enjoyed the Detroit Tigers. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, and a daughter, Rachel L. Robbins on April 17, 2003. He is survived by a daughter, Beth (Robert) Stickney of Union City, three grandchildren, Kathryn, Jacob and Caleb of Union City, four brothers and one sister. Masonic services conducted by the Sherwood Masonic Lodge No. 421 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 23, 2009 at the Sherwood Cemetery. Memorial donations may be directed to the Sherwood Masonic Lodge No. 421.
