Delores Carter Obituary

Delores M. Carter Battle Creek Delores M. Carter, 76, passed away Saturday, May 30, 2009 at Battle Creek Health System. She was born September 25, 1932, in Battle Creek, the daughter of Raleigh and May Belle (Stephenson) Carter. Delores was previously employed by U.S. Register for 21 years and also Michigan National Bank. She was last employed by Olan Mills for 10 years, retiring in 1996. Delores enjoyed crocheting, fishing, sewing and also caring for children as a Day Care operator. She was a Cub Scout den mother for four years. She is survived by her son Jeffrey Carter of Battle Creek. She was preceded by her son Gregory Carter in 2002 and brother Raleigh Carter Jr. A visitation is scheduled for 5:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. Thursday at Royal Funeral Home. Private interment will be at Oak Hill Cemetery.

I am really sorry about your loss.. I took care of her at the Laurels and also knew of her when she worked at Olan Mills. She will be greatly missed by alot of people!!

Jeff & Family I was saddened to learn of your Moms Passing! I so enjoyed working with her at Olan Mills at Columbia Plaza the time that I worked with her there! She was such a kind,caring,compassionate loving soul who will sorely be missed! My Condolences go out to you Jeff.I know how much you Loved & Adored your Mom
