Ruth Sundberg Obituary

Ruth Rombauer Martin Sundberg Kalamazoo Ruth Sundberg, age 88, died June 5, 2009 in Parchement. She was born February 6, 1921, the daughter of Frederick and Etelka (Rombauer) Martin. Services will be held Friday 11:00 a.m. at the Life Story Funeral Home, Betzler-Kalamazoo; 6080 Stadium Drive, 375-2900 followed by a luncheon in the Life Story Center. Ruth was an artist and the Art Education Coordinator for the Battle Creek Art Center and Krasl Art Center in St. Joseph. She was preceded in death by her brother, Theodore Martin. Surviving are 2 sons: Chris (Nancy) Sundberg; Andy Sundberg (Susan Wolfert); 2 grandsons: Eric and Tim Sundberg; former husband, Harold Sundberg; and sister-in-law, Frances Martin and her family.
