Jennifer Hawk Obituary

Jennifer L. Hawk Battle Creek Jennifer Lynn Hawk, 54, of Battle Creek, died June 9, 2009 at home. She was born August 5, 1954, the daughter of Richard W. and Barbara (Govier) Eddinger in Battle Creek. Jennifer graduated from Lakeview High School in 1970 and worked at Speed's Restaurants in Battle Creek. Jennifer was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Hawk on November 6, 2008. She is survived by her sons, Martin Lee Blanchard of Battle Creek and Robert (Melisa) Blanchard of Marine City; mother, Barbara Eddinger of Battle Creek; father, Richard (Barbara) Eddinger of Bellaire, Michigan; sister, Shanon (Louis) Legg of Battle Creek and brother, Mike Eddinger of Texas. Jennifer loved being with her family and enjoyed going to flea markets, gardening, fishing and playing bingo and cribbage. Family will receive friends from 6 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, June 11, 2009 at Shaw Funeral Home. A graveside service will take place 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 12, 2009 at Fort Custer National Cemetery, Augusta with Rev. James Hill officiating. Memorial donations may go to Humane Society of South Central Michigan or the USO. The family is being served by Shaw Funeral Home. www.shawfuneralhome.com
