Lloyd Capman Obituary

Lloyd W. Capman Battle Creek Lloyd W. Capman, 69, died peacefully at his home on Saturday, June 13, 2009. Mr. Capman was born on July 4, 1939 in Marshall to Harold L. and Edith Marie (Ritter) Capman. Lloyd was an avid motorcycle rider. He belonged to the Gold Wing Roadriders Association and the Old Dogs Retirement Riders. He was a huge NASCAR and Jeff Gordon fan, even to the extent of asking his family not to call him during a race so that he could devote his full attention to the race. His love for auto racing was formed as a youth when he built and drove race cars at local raceways. Other favorite activities included playing pool and playing table games. He had competed in the Valley and Moose Pool Leagues. He enjoyed playing cards and Hand-n-Foot with his family and friends. He is survived by daughters, Susan Capman of Marshall, Kerrie (Jack) Cervenka of Englewood, FL and Karla Capman of Battle Creek; son, Michael (Judy) Capman of Battle Creek; grandchildren, Paxton Lloyd Capman, Brian Griffith, Kodye Griffith, Steven Griffith, Nicholas Cervenka, Aimiee Cervenka and Stephanie Cervenka; brothers, Richard Capman of S.C. and Sid Capman of Battle Creek; sisters, Xenna Johnson of S.C., Judy Coy of Bedford and Carol Davis of Portage.
