I did not know him personally, in fact I only met him on two seperate occassions, but I had the pleasure of meeting himself and Mrs. Wheat one day after they were seperated during a trip to the mall, I helped reunite them after his wife expressed concern in his whereabouts. The facts that two people could stay in love and worry about each others whereabouts after 68 years of marriage made me see what true love really was all about. I spoke to Mr. Wheat on valentine's day of this year in the same place as well, I was sitting down to eat and he invited me to sit with him due to limited seating, and he chatted and I listened to his stories. my thoughts go out to the family.
