Georgianna Wallen Obituary

Georgianna Wallen New Castle Georgianna Wallen age 73 of New Castle passed away Wednesday June 24, 2009 at her home. She was born June 29, 1935 in Muncie, Indiana the daughter of the late Donno W. and Martha Gray Cooper. She worked at Cardinal Consignment Shop for 4 years and Kesslers Feed Store for 8 years. She attended Selma High School and was a graduate of Muncie Central High School. She was a member of the Sanctuary a United Pentecostal Church in New Castle. Survivors include her husband Rev. Thomas Lee Wallen, her son Thomas (Amy) Ewing of Syracuse, Indiana, two daughters: Wendellynn (Robert) Askins of Warsaw, KY, Amy (Robert) Devries of Boca Rotan, FL, step children Randy Joe (Edith) and Rusty Wallen of Muncie, Jennifer (Jerry) Holten of Muncie, brother John (Lynne) Cooper of Muncie and 13 grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, son Douglas Ray Ewing. Services will be Saturday June 27, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at Marcum Community Funeral Home in New Castle, Indiana. Pastor Jeff Jaco will be officiating. Burial will be Wednesday July 1, 2009 at Battle Creek Memorial Park at 1:00 p.m. Friends may call Saturday 11:00 a.m. -1:00 p.m. prior to service.
