Gloria J."Jo" Kline

Gloria J. "Jo" Kline Battle Creek Gloria J. "Jo" Kline, 74, died Tuesday, June 30, 2009, at Battle Creek Health System. Gloria was born on November 4, 1934, in Angola, Indiana, the daughter of Willis B. and Mary Ellen (Cattin) Bowerman. She had lived in Auburn, Indiana, and then came to the Battle Creek area. She was united in marriage to Robert Kline, he preceded her in death. She was employed at Interbake from 1969 until 1989, then with Meijer from 1989 until 2004. She enjoyed bingo and car shows. Surviving are children, Gary Kerr of Battle Creek, Robert (Kathie) Kline of Florida, Mark (Jodi) Kline of Battle Creek and Lori (Ron) Mikolajczyk of Shelbyville; 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; sister, Delores (Robert) Labadie of Battle Creek; special friend, Gordy Miller. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Robert Bowerman. In accordance with her wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 7, 2009, at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Olmstead officiating. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service. Inurnment of cremains will follow the service at the Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum.
