Ethel Wilkey Obituary

Ethel R. Wilkey Climax Ethel R. Wilkey, age 91, died Sunday June 14, 2009, at Good Samaritan Hospice Residence. Ethel was born on August 15, 1917, in Rhea County, TN, the daughter of James F. and Inez P. (Jackson) Cooley. On July 9, 1937, in Rossville, GA, she was united in marriage to Boyd Wilkey who preceded her in death in 1999. Surviving are sons, Jerry (Paula) Wilkey of Indianapolis, IN, and Michael (Linda) Wilkey of Scotts, MI; 3 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. In accordance with her wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2009 in Memorial Park Cemetery, located on Territorial Rd., in Battle Creek. The memorial will take place at the gravesite at 3:00 p.m., with James Codde presiding. A gathering at her home on Mercury Drive in Climax will follow. Memorials may be made to the Lifespan Good Samaritan Hospice. Arrangements by the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home.
