I am so glad I had the opportunity to know Connie. The first time I walked into Connies Cove, she remembered me as a child coming into Greevers with my dad to buy fish. Her sense of humor was great, she always had a joke to tell.
I am so sorry for your loss Betty. I miss both of you.

I write in memory of my mother who knew Connie and considered her a friend. My mother, Dorothy Bailey, passed away in 2004 in Covington, Louisiana were she lived with my wife and myself. She and Connie worked together, at Cricket Publishing, I think, where they developed their friendship. My mom always spoke of Connie's sense of humor and I was fortunate enough to have met Connie myself and offer my condolences.
