Pauline Selepak Obituary

Pauline J. Selepak Battle Creek Pauline J. Selepak, 86, of Battle Creek and formerly of Jackson and Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, died July 10, 2009 at home. She was born June 26, 1923, the daughter of Charles and Anna (Kudlick) Bogdanowicz in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania. Pauline was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Selepak in 1990; her son, Anthony Selepak in 2008; brother, Charles Bogdanowicz and sisters, Jenny Bogdanowicz, Mimi, Stella and Kate. She is survived by her son, Joseph Selepak, Jr. (18 Montford, Battle Creek, MI 49017); and sister, Helen (John) Ellis of Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania. Pauline was a former member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jackson and enjoyed cooking and working in her flower garden. The family will receive friends from 2 until 4:00 p.m. and 5 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at Shaw Funeral Home. Services will take place 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at the funeral home, with Rev. Jim Codde, officiating. Interment, Fort Custer National Cemetery. Memorial donations may go to a charity of one's choice. The family is being served by Shaw Funeral Home. www.shawfuneralhome.com
