Sadie Scott Obituary

Sadie E. Scott Sadie E. Scott, 92, passed away Tuesday morning, July 14, 2009 in Lexington, Kentucky. She was a native of Battle Creek and worked at the Kellogg Co. where she was a member of the 25 year club & she attended Birchwood United Methodist Church. Sadie was preceded in death by her husband, Loran C. Scott; her parents, Guy & Nellie Coston and her brothers & sisters, Ethel Tietsort, Harold Coston, Mildred Manning, Collin (Punk) Coston and Daisy Borgard. She is survived by her two children, Frank H. Scott and Suzanne Tack-Adams; five grandchildren, Jeffrey A. Tack, Frank H. Scott Jr., Lori Tack-Riggins, Cheri Scott-Snellings and Malia Scott; eight great-grandchildren and two nieces, Laura Davis and Eleanor Logas. At the request of the family, they will receive friends from 2:00 3:00 p.m., Tuesday in the chapel at Memorial Park Cemetery. Funeral services to celebrate Sadie's life will follow at 3:00 p.m., with Rev. Robert G. Muirhead officiating. Memorials may be made to the Birchwood United Methodist Church Memorial Fund. Local arrangements were entrusted to the Farley-Estes & Dowdle Funeral Home, Battle Creek. Personal messages for the family may be placed at www.farleyestesdowdle.com.
