Larry Eugene Jones

Larry Eugene Jones Battle Creek Larry Eugene Jones, age 73, died unexpectedly Sunday morning, July 19, 2009, at Borgess Medical Center, Kalamazoo, MI. Larry was born on April 3, 1936 in Battle Creek and was a lifetime area resident. He was the son of Mildred Jones. Larry retired in 2001 after 46 years of faithful service as a Millwright for the Michigan Paperboard Company. Larry is survived by his wife, the former Kang Pu Yi. Also surviving is his son, Larry W. Jones of Battle Creek; two daughters, Pamela (Tanas) Geleff of Battle Creek and Angela (William) Loyd of Greenville, MI; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; his brother, Michael (Angela) Brady of Battle Creek; two sisters, Shirley (Robert) Smith of Battle Creek and Donna Lovejoy of TX and his aunt, Virginia Jones of Athens, MI. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mildred. As per Larry's request, cremation will take place and final interment will be in Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens, Emmett Township. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Larry's honor may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O.
