Helen Louise Chapman Battle Creek Helen Louise Chapman, 87, died August 9, 2009. Helen was born October 14, 1921 in Kalamazoo, to Frank and Irene (Bauman) McAllister. Helen spent most of her working days in the banking industry, mainly as a financial advisor. Helen was kind, loving, and generous. She was truly loved by all who knew her. Helen is survived by her three nieces, Constance Vunovich of Battle Creek, Irene Haughey of California, and Cynthia Burrill of Battle Creek; one nephew Robert McAllister II of South Carolina; and numerous great-nieces and nephews. Helen was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband Richard Chapman; one sister Frances Haughey; and one brother Robert McAllister. As per Helen's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services at this time.
