Judith Muntz Obituary

Judith A. Muntz Crystal River, FL Judith A. Muntz of Crystal River, Florida, died Thursday, August 13, 2009, after her three year battle with Cancer. Judy is survived by her husband, Lawrence, and her three children, Jeffrey Muntz and wife Suzanne, Anne Coyle and husband Bob, and Dorothy Alesio and husband Mark. She is also survived by her mother, Jane Willis; sisters, Sandra Camp and Shirley Willis; and her five grandchildren, Kristina and Tori Coyle, Joseph and Angela Muntz and Jocelyn Alesio. Judy was born in Akron Ohio in 1944 to Clifford and Jane Willis. Judy graduated from W. K. Kellogg High School, Hickory Corners Michigan in 1962 and went on to get her Elementary School Teaching Certificate from Michigan State University in 1966. Judy taught 4th grade at Fremont Elementary School for two years before joining her husband in Korea with the U. S. Army. After Larry's tour was completed he joined the Kellogg's sales force and Judy dedicated her time and efforts into raising their three children. Judy selflessly devoted her time to her family and friends and supported her community as a volunteer at the Binder Park Zoo. She enjoyed many seasonal activities including golf, tennis, horseback riding, water skiing, snow skiing, and ice skating. In her spare time, she took pleasure in reading, cross stitching, knitting and spending time with her grandchildren. Plans for a memorial service to be held in Audubon, PA sometime in September are yet to be finalized. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in Judy's name can be made to the American Diabetes Association P.O. Box 1834 Merrifield, VA 22116 or the International Myeloma Foundation 12650 Riverside Drive Suite 206 North Hollywood, CA 91607.

Larry -- We were very saddened to hear of Judy's passing. Although it's been many years I still remember some of the great times we had when we all lived in Cincinnati back in the early 70s. We will keep Judy and you (and your family) in our prayers. If you ever get back to BC please give me a call.

Wishing you the very best and our deepest condolences in your loss.

Larry and family,
I was saddened to hear of Judy's passing. I first met her 3 yrs. ago at Brentwood Golf course where we played in the Tuesday ladies league together. She will be truly missed as a friend and true competitor in golf.

Larry, Jeff, Anne, and Dory,
I was so saddened to hear of Judy's passing. Despite your move from Battle Creek so many years ago we continued to exchange Christmas cards all these years until just a couple of years ago. Dory and my Angie were such good friends back then and have recently reconnected through Facebook. I know Judy's life revolved around her family and she especially loved her grandkids. I know you will all miss her so.

Larry, Jeff, Anne and Dory; I was very sorry to hear of your loss. Judy was an important part of my life in Audubon and I remember our adventure to New York to the Zoo, the wonderful Memorial Day parties in your back yard, and all those hours playing bridge. Please let me know of plans for the Audubon memorial.

A wonderful sister who will be missed forever. We could always count on a shared laugh with Judy-- a great gal in every sense of the word. Sister Sandy
