'Dad' Dale was truly one of the sweetest men I've known. In the late '70's, he and Paul Clark (another wonderful man) argued at the Country Club over whose adopted daughter I was. I settled it by saying I would be proud to be 'adopted' by both. Dale's beautiful 'ear to ear' smile while riding the little cars with the Shriners in every parade made many people smile back. These are memories I'll always cherish. Dear Kathy, Terri, Jeff, and Greg, I send love and peace to you all. God Bless.

My heart goes out to the whole Mahan family in their loss. Mr.and Mrs. Mahan did alot for the Wheaton school and all the kids as we were growing up.Even though I havn't seen the kids in many years I still have fantastic memories of our time at Wheaton school and our softball and kickball games. You can't replace a terrific person like Mr. Mahan but you sure can savor 87 great years ! GOD BLESS !

Its been years since seeing Mr and Mrs Mahan. We lived next door to the family on Vermontville Hwy. Us kids went to school with the Mahan kids. We just want to say that we send a prayer for all of you, in it to keep him in your hearts and that the memories carry you through this time in your lives.
