I am shocked and saddened to learn of Charlene's tragic death. Charlene and I were childhood friends, spending countless hours on the phone and doing homework together. We were co-valedictorians at Tekonsha High School in 1966. Our familiies attended Maple Grove Bible Church, so we attended Sunday School, Bible School, and church youth activities together. We lost touch with each other after our college days, but I know Charlene was a wonderful, caring person who touched many lives positively. My sincerest sympathy goes to her family.

I am so sorry to learn of Charlene's tragic accident. I attended Tekonsha High School, as well as Olivet College, with her. We were both members of Alpha E sorority. Although I had not communicated with Char for many years, it sounds as if she had a rich, fulfilling life - involved with family, her career, and church. May memories comfort you.
