Marion Sword Obituary

Marion Lee Sword Battle Creek Marion Lee Sword, 63, passed away Friday, August 21, 2009 at her home. She was born March 4, 1946, in Battle Creek, the daughter of Richard R. and Georgia G. (Maugherman) Teller. Marion was previously employed by Arlene's Truck Stop and was currently employed by the Super 8 Motel. Marion was previously married to Howard L. Morrison. She married Gilbert D. Sword in 1982. He preceded her in death in 2000. She and her husband had resided in Cement City, MI. Marion was a member of the Eagles Aerie #3689 in the Irish Hills area. She enjoyed sewing, caring for her house plants and gardening, shopping and her dog "Little One". She is survived by her son Darrell (Meegan) Morrison of Battle Creek and her grandchildren Gavin and Lachlan Morrison. She also leaves her sister Teana (Phil) Savage of Athens and her stepmother Beatrice Teller. She was preceded in death by her half brother Ross Smith and and infant half brother Perry Phillips. Cremation has taken place. No services are scheduled at this time. Arrangements are by Royal Funeral Home.
