Jean, Jeannie, & John, I am sorry for the loss of your mother. I'm sure that she and John Sr. are enjoying a great round of golf at the Heavenly Greens golf course. Heared by the grapevine that both got an eagle and God only got a birdie.
I would always run into your parents at local restaurants where they would envite me to eat with them. We would talk for hours. I felt at times they were my own parents. They are greatly missed.
God bless you all!!

Borgia made the world a better place. She was one of those teachers who every memory you had of her was positive and you were fortunate to have known her.

Jeannie, Judy, John and family, Your Mom was the most sweetest, and funfull person I have ever met. I will miss those wonderful 4th July parties that gave so much joy to the neigborhood. Your parents were wonderful beyond words. I have truly loved having them for neighbors, and the memories of them will be with me forever. Take care and God bless

Judy, Jeannie, John and the wondreful grandchildren, Your MOM was one of the finest teachers in our Battle Creek community. I remember a lot of the good times with your MOM; especially when she would put together the special events for the entire school. Such as Father Wheeler's Feast day celebration and the St. Patrick's Day events. I also remember how she would correct some of my actions and make me work harder to achieve the expectations, she would have us pursue. As Mayor of Battle Creek we have lost a great citizen of our Battle Creek community; however, I know that as the Saints opened the doors for your MOM today, she gave them that "Felsing wink" and knew that she prepared well for her life in heaven. The people of Battle Creek say thanks for sharing your MOM with the many families of our community!

I was the last class to be fortunate enought to have Mrs. Felsing as a teacher in 4th grade at St. Joseph Elementary School. It was an honor to have her as such an influence. She is truly a remarkable woman to have as an influence. I am blessed to have had her in my life.

Mrs. Felsing welcomed me with a warm heart and incredible enthusiasm to St. Joseph Elementary 4th grade class in the early 1980's. She was a woman of eloquence, finesse, and great heart. She was my most memorable grade school teacher and will be remembered with great fondness. My sincerest condolences to her family and loved ones.

I may be one of the lucky few that had Mrs. Felsing for two years. She taught my class for both third and fourth grade. She was an excellent teacher. She is at peace now.

Jeannie, Judy & John & all of the grandchildren,
I am so sorry I cannot be there during this difficult time. Your mom was like a second mom to me. I remember the overnights in your lavender bedroom Jeannie and how she would let us watch the "Micky Mouse Club" with the "Micky Mouse" ears on in front of the tv with dinner on tv trays. I remember her great laugh, her playing bridge at my moms house and her always having open arms for me when I came over to play or visit as I got older. We were all blessed because she was here for 95 years. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Hang on to those thoughts of the good times. I'm sure you have a ton of wonderful memories.

John - For all these years, and all the professors and instructors I have ever had, your mother has always been - and will always be - my very favorite teacher. She made 3rd grade so much fun! (Although it may have been a little difficult for you, since we were in the same home room.) Even many years afterward, she would remember me - and my name - when we saw her in church. How personal. She made a difference to all of us. May she rest in peace.

Judy, Jeannie, and John,
I am so sorry for your loss. I have many good childhood memories of your Mom from when you use to live in the house next door (Ruben and Sandy's house now). She was always so nice to us girls when we wanted to play in John's club house! And when I started school at St. Joe's, I wanted her to be my 3rd grade teacher!! She was my favorite!
May you all find peace now. I know your Mom has and she's probably enjoying a great round of golf!
