Donna, I just found out about John's passing today. I am so sorry for your loss. I didn't know that you had lost a son also, how awful that must have been to lose one so precious. My prayers and love are with you always.

Dear Donna & family,
I am so sorry I did not know of John's passing until now. You all are in my prayers. John was always very kind to me. He will be missed.
With sympathy,

We little knew that night that God was going to call your name,
In life we loved you dearly,in death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone.
For part of us went with you, the day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide,
And though we cannot see you, you are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same,
But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.

I found out my cousin died today and I did not know what to say.
So I started to remember, Walking into his house one day, and there he was, playing the drums.I mean really playing those drums, and with his brother Mark wailing on the sax beside him. One day I remember Johnny singing at the top of his lungs "Signs" And the sign says.....
Johnny was talented.
I remember going to the beach, with my cousins, which gave all the men in the family a chance to show off their water skills.Sometimes it would scare me the things they would do on those skis. Johnny would drive the boat sometimes, and I remember Aunt Joann being pulled behind on a boogie board everybody was so daring...
Johnny was brave.
I remember the time he borrowed my Dad's mustang without asking, and brought it back with a dent. He tried to make up some story about the bike in the garage hitting it, but my Dad knew. He forgave the young man, who he grew up with, they were practically brothers, 9 years apart. Mistakes happen...
Johnny was loved.
I remember Aunt Donna telling my mother No matter what; I'm sticking by my man...
Johnny was loved
And from what I know about the last 25 years, and the hardships he's endured...
Johnny was strong.
Johnny was strong.
May God comfort the family during this time of loss.
