Leo was our squadron CO at Ernest Harmon AFB in Newfoundland. He and Bea attended my wedding in l962 with Chuck and Gene Farmer, also an aircraft commander in Newfoundland. I remember especially one Christmas Eve when all the officers in our squadron were told to report to the enlisted BOQ. Leo supplied the liquid refreshment and we made sure that the squadron personnel were tucked into bed after the party. Nobody from the 1856th AACS Squadron got into trouble that night !!! Thanks for the memories Leo!!!
