Margene E. Myers Battle Creek Margene E. Myers, 75, of Battle Creek passed away surrounded by her family on Thursday, October 22, 2009 at her home. She was born August 22, 1934 in Battle Creek the daughter of Earnest Basil and Leota May (Kintigh) Welker. She retired from Dare Products after 34 years and then she worked for AMCO Parking Systems for 8 years. Margene enjoyed going to the casino, making lots of arts and crafts and going to garage sales. She also liked to collect ducks and geese. She is survived by her children, Earnest R. Welker, Dirinda D. Bank and Martin L. Myers, all of Battle Creek; special granddaughter that she raised, Crystal Myers; 5 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Judy (Martin) Elliott; brother, Vern (Marsha) Welker. She was preceded in death by her parents, a granddaughter, 2 sisters, 3 brothers and a special friend, Frank Paul. Visitation will be held at Bachman Hebble Funeral Service on Monday from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 2:00 p.m. at the Bachman Hebble Funeral Service with Pastor Cheryl Jones officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial tributes may be made to Lifespan-Good Samaritan Hospice Care.
