I had several biology courses from Dr. Ballou in my pre-med years at Albion 1959-1962. He was one of my favorite professors and the knowledge I gained from him served me well as I went on to the Univ. of Mich. I'm so glad to learn he lived a long and full life.

We will miss Dr. Ken but remember our
visits to the stable and our conversations around coffee in the
lounge. I (Leslie) even had a riding
lesson on one of his special horses.
He was never a quittor and we respected
him highly.

I had Dr. Ballou as my science teacher in 1952. I found him to be friendly and a warm person who respected all students. My condolences to the family.

Ken was my dearest friend and he leaves a huge void in my daily life. He was a wonderful man whom I greatly admired and enjoyed. I am deeply grieving his loss. I will always remember him and greatly miss him.
