Russell Riker Obituary

Russell Guy Riker Homer Russell Guy Riker, 76, passed away Saturday October 24, 2009 in Tampa, FL. He was born Sept. 18, 1933 in Litchfield to Zerald and Pauline (Lake) Riker. Russell graduated from Litchfield High School in 1951 and served in the US Army in Korea. He retired from Calhoun Foundry, Homer, in 1995. Survivors include his wife, Mollie (Morris) Griffith Riker; 3 daughters, Cindy Kirkbride, Cathi (Louie) Kroul, Teri (Eric) Fogel, all of Homer; 1 son David (Yvette) Riker, of New Orleans, LA.; step-daughters, Charlene (Raymond) Brown Otsego, Kathleen (David) LaFountain Delton; step-sons, Roger (Roxanne) Griffith, Richland, Kevin Griffith, Des Moines, Washington; sisters, Merlene (Jim) Hancock, Lupton MI and Palmetto FL, Gail (Lynn) Thompson, Litchfield, Pamela (Bruce) Sayer Ludington; 20 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren Funeral services will be held Sunday, 3:00 p.m., at the George White Funeral Home, Litchfield, with visitation from 1:00 PM until time of service. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society or the Homer Area Community Foundation.
