Maxine DeBarr Obituary

Maxine G. DeBarr Battle Creek Maxine G. DeBarr, 87 , passed away Thursday, October 29, 2009 at The Laurels of Bedford. She was born August 10, 1922 in Lawton, Michigan the daughter of John and Edna (Cook) Stanton. Maxine was a ward clerk at Community Hospital for many years. She dearly loved her dog and enjoyed all types of crafts. On June 12, 1941 she was married to Nelson Lewis DeBarr in Bryan, Ohio and he preceded her in death on January 25, 2005. She was also preceded by one sister and one brother. Surviving are two children: Sharleen Garrison and Eric (Lisa) DeBarr; two grandsons: Tony Garrison and Logan DeBarr; and one brother: David Stanton. Private family services will be held at Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home.
