Jeffery Spooner Obituary

Jeffery A. Spooner Battle Creek Jeffery Alan Spooner, 41, of Battle Creek, died November 7, 2009 in Perry, Iowa. He was born September 12, 1968, the son of Calvin R. and Jeanette M. (Watson) Spooner in Dowagiac. He graduated from White Pigeon High School in 1987 and worked as a truck driver for 20 years. Jeffery married Marissa Cipriano on January 27, 2006. She survives. Also surviving are daughter, Jordin M. Spooner of Sturgis; mother, Jeanette (Don) Coy of Dowagiac; father, Calvin Spooner of Battle Creek; brother, William (Lynn) Spooner of Dowagiac; sister, Deborah (Dave) Landman of Grand Rapids; stepbrother, Don (Ginger) Coy of McBain; stepsister, Gayle (Robert) Wilson of Niles; special brother-in-law, Ken (Cindi) Simpson; uncle, Don (Trixie) Spooner of Battle Creek; aunts, Kathy (Ron) Harrison, Reno, Nevada, Bonnie (Dave) Poshke of Benton Harbor, Sharon (Peter) Matute of Las Vegas, Nevada; and five nieces and five nephews. He was preceded in death by Roy and Arlene Spooner, William Watson and Elvira Wallace. Jeffery enjoyed driving trucks and collecting NASCAR memorabilia. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7:00 p.m. Thursday, November 12, 2009 at Shaw Funeral Home where services will take place at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. William Lang officiating.
