When I was an apprentice at the augusta barn theatre, I became very ill. I called Jim and he drove all the way out to the barn and got me and took me to the hospital. I never forgot that kind gesture. He was a wonderful friend of my sister Nancy. I miss him already and know that he is with god now. R I P Jim.

Condolences to Jimmy's Family.
Jimmy & I were golf partners in his
first year of golfing, in the Eaton Golf League. He wanted to learn so he
could play golf with his brother,
according to Jim, was a good golfer.
We were teeing off, over a small pond:
I told Jimmy to use an old ball. He
no, he was using a new ball. He hit
the new dball into the pond. Naturally, I told him so, and He said;
That was an old ball-I hit it once.
Jimmy had a great sense of humor.

I will miss you Jim. You went out of your way to help your friends, and you were the very first friend I made in Battle Creek back in 1985 after my move here from Wisconsin. You helped me get started in the mortgage business and have been a good friend ever since. Our many bike rides on the Linear Trail are still fresh in my mind. You were an inspiration in your care for your Mother and now you are with her. Godbless you Jim.
