Robert Dockery

Robert Dockery Rockford Mr. Robert Dockery, age 76, passed away on Sunday morning, November 15, 2009. During the Korean War he was a military police officer in the U. S. Air Force. Robert was a Michigan State Police Trooper and later worked for the Department of Corrections. He is survived by his daughter, Kelli and Dr. Paul Kovack of Belmont, and Troy Dockery of East Leroy; step-children, Dawn and John Felsing, Mike and Kathy McLoughlin, Gerianne Bovee, James "Jim" A. Dunn; grandchildren, Connor Kovack, Macklyn Kovack, Nathan Dockery, Madison Dockery; and his constant companion, "Zoe." The Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Dockery will be on Monday morning, November 23, 2009, at 11:00 o'clock at Our Lady of Consolation Church, 4865 Eleven Mile, Road, NE; Rockford, MI with The Rev. Tony Russo, presiding. Honoring Mr. Dockery request cremation has taken place. Memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Consolation in Rockford or Humane Society of Kent County, 3077 Wilson, NW; Walker, MI 49544.
