Kenneth Gross Obituary

Kenneth Ray Gross East Leroy Kenneth Ray Gross, age 57 of East Leroy, MI died unexpectedly on Monday November 9, 2009. He was born in Kalamazoo on June 12, 1952, the son of Emil and Marjorie (Tessin) Gross and was a lifetime resident of Southwest Michigan. He graduated from Otsego High School with the class of 1971. Ken worked in the tire business as an installer for 27 years, drove a stock car, and was home health care and hospice volunteer for 11 years. Ken is survived by a brother, Richard Gross of Plainwell; sister, Deanna Blanchard of Lake Worth, FL; close friend, Sherril Keese of East Leroy; nieces and nephews. Cremation has been conducted, and ashes have been interred in Prairie River Cemetery in Centreville. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday November 25, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Philip Catholic Church in Battle Creek with Rev. Charles H. Fischer officiating. My thoughts and prayers are with you. My late husband Steve built a few cleveland engines for Kenny. Kenny was a real nice guy, I am so sorry for your loss. May the many memories sustain you for years to come.
