Allie Mae Morgan Battle Creek Allie Mae Morgan, 100, of Battle Creek died at Evergreen Manor on Wednesday, November 18, 2009. She was born in Dayton, Tennessee to Richard and Nellie A. (Roberts) Holland on June 3, 1909. Allie was raised in Dayton, TN and came to Battle Creek in 1941. Allie was united in marriage to Charles N. Morgan July 7, 1925, in Dayton, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by Charles, her husband of 65 years on July 30, 1990; by her son, Charles Morgan; a son-in-law, Dennis Bilbrey; three sisters and three brothers. Surviving are her daughters, Marchie Bilbrey of Battle Creek and Shirley (Albert) Bellwood of Clearwater, FL; ten grandchildren 14 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. Allie was an outgoing and friendly social butterfly. She enjoyed people, cooking, gardening and working in her yard. Friends may call at the Farley-Estes & Dowdle Funeral Home where they will be received 1:00-3:00 and 5:00-8:00 p.m. today (Sunday). Funeral services to celebrate Allie's life will be held at the funeral home 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 23, 2009. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
