Barbara Clark-Uldriks Obituary

Barbara V. Clark-Uldriks Battle Creek Barbara V. Clark-Uldriks, 89, of Battle Creek passed away Saturday, January 2, 2010 at her home. She was born February 4, 1920 in Battle Creek the daughter of Clarence and Ann Lena (Reed) Coy. She married Donald D. Clark on November 18, 1939 and he preceded her in death on July 9, 1979, she then married Harmon "Bud" Uldriks in 1985 and he preceded her death in 1995. Barbara worked for Eaton Corporation during and prior to World War II. Barbara was very family orientated. She was a volunteer for the nursery guild for the Battle Creek Health System, Hospice Volunteer and a Lady Lion for the Bedford Lions Club. Barbara was a member of Chapel Hill United Methodist Church. She enjoyed painting with water colors, dancing and being in her flower garden. She is survived by her children, Barbara (Maury) Stahl of Wayland, Susan Gehrman of Battle Creek, Bill (Claudia) Clark of Portage; grandchildren, Kelly, Wendy, Julie, Libby, Phillip, Justin, Amanda; and 9 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by members of Bud's family, including his children: Harm (Linda) Uldricks and Diane (Keith) Loudermilk; his grandchildren: Casey, Ron, Paul, Jan, Gail and Michael; and 3 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers and sisters, Maxine Cady, Edwin Coy, Alfred Coy, Basil Coy, Frank Coy, Clair Coy, Robert Coy, Harold Coy, Donald Coy and Leta Ann Powell. Visitation will be held at Bachman Hebble Funeral Service on Tuesday from 2 - 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 1:00 p.m. at the Chapel Hill United Methodist Church with Rev. Dr. Jim Gysel officiating. Burial will be in Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens. Memorial tributes may be made to Bedford Lions Club or American Cancer Society.
